Sustainable, connected, future-proof - pole-mounted luminaires for the city of today and tomorrow
WE-EF post-top luminaires with LED technology have been proving their worth on roads, paths and squares around the world for 15 years. Now a new generation of pole-mounted luminaires is being launched with the AFL100 series. It is consistently geared towards sustainability and offers its users connectivity and future-proofing.
With the new AFL100 series of pole-mounted luminaires, WE-EF is offering three sizes - the AFL110, AFL120 and AFL130 - that already cover a wide range of applications. The WE-EF development "Wild-Light" is a further option: with this technology, the AFL100-WL can switch between two light colors under sensor or timer control. The new pole-mounted luminaires are therefore also suitable for applications in sensitive, near-natural zones where special consideration is required for flora and fauna.
According to the current state of science, extremely warm-toned light with a minimized blue component is considered to be particularly gentle on animals such as insects or nocturnal mammals. However, such light reproduces colors and contrasts less well for the human eye than conventional LEDs in warm white with 3000 K. "Wild-Light" offers a solution to this dilemma in the form of an integrated system of adaptive lighting technology, sensors and networking. To achieve this, we combine LED modules in two different light colors: Namely in the more nature-friendly light color of 2200 K as well as in warm white with 3000 K.
