With KS* lightweight walls, the manufacturers of the KS-Original brand alliance are now also offering solutions for non-load-bearing interior walls under the motto “Simplify building”, which are characterized by high space efficiency and enable the integration of building services installations. Thanks to their simple, flexible handling in planning and execution, the building systems primarily promote the sustainability and durability of existing and new buildings.
Despite their reduced load-bearing capacity, KS* lightweight walls continue to offer the physical advantages of sand-lime brick. KS building elements (d = 100 mm) and KS-NT elements have perpendicular installation and pipe ducts with a spacing of 125 mm. If the product-specific overlap dimension is adhered to, they allow cables and pipes to be laid easily in the lightweight wall. There is no need to mill slots on site. Commercially available cavity wall boxes can be used for electrical connections.
